This is Kat, the creator and producer for Summerlands. We just had our first crack at the pilot yesterday (so far, we've been focused on world building and character development). It's hard to make the transition from big ideas to more specific "what exactly is this character going to do?" and "how do we get from point A to point B in the story?" But, the writing team is a bunch of pros and I'm really looking forward to what we come up with over the next two months. Stay tuned and I'll do my best to keep this blog updated on our progress!
